A physical therapist is a health care professional who diagnoses and treats persons of all ages who have injuries, medical difficulties, or other health-related illnesses that impair their ability to function and move normally in their daily life. Physical therapists create a recovery plan tailored to each patient’s needs and administer treatment and therapy to help them move better and manage pain.
